A beautiful soul posted a 12 day photo challenge yesterday. I decided to make a mini blog series.
This way I could share some self care goodness and invite others to get to know me through a collection of special photos.

Here’s my thoughts for day one of this photo challenge, today is Friday January 6th and it’s the first Full Moon of 2023!

Something I believe to be profound and mystical! As a mother of 5, 4 earthside children and one spirit child. I know that I am here for many reasons which I will share a few over the next 12 days.

I believe we are all here for a reason and we have chosen to be here in this life to navigate the lessons we receive right from birth. We all have magic within us, it starts with the spark within our mother’s womb.
That moment of conception, where our spirit commences the journey of becoming a physical form. It’s a beautiful occurrence and a special moment that we all can share as humans.


This is why I chose a picture of my children holding me, something I am celebrating is how I love my children.
How I parent and choose to connect with them.  I have been feeling very emotional, my eyes have been shedding tears of joy and heaviness. There have been so many things from my past that have surfaced. I am grateful for this human experience, to have feelings and emotions. I will never deny that it’s not hard, yet it’s getting easier to become the observer and sit with them rather than in them.

Here’s something I used to help me process with the magic of this Full Moon.
It’s a mini ritual that we can do alone or with our children to honour the collective watery moon energy that is here for us all.
